Venerable Master Hsuan Hua
- Master Hauan Hua was one of the earliest Chinese Chan masters to have set foot in the USA. He received transmission in the Wei-Yang lineage from Master Hsu Yun. He founded the City of Ten Thousand Buddha in 1976 and passed away in 1995.
